STATE OUTREACH COORDINATOR
You are invited to join; The State Outreach Coordinator Program is made up of volunteers from across the country and from every walk of life and profession. We host an annually meeting each March in Wilmington, NC where members have voting privilege with in the organization as a whole. This meeting is mandatory for training purposes and networking as well as to better understand the mission of our center. In additional we host training via Internet in announced webinars for directors only in all aspects of missing person work and relations.
The position is 100 percent volunteer and renews annually. Our directors are our extended arms that reach into communities bringing forth awareness, support and search efforts for the missing. Directors have the support of the organization and are recognized at the level of a board member. Once we meet you, we can direct a path for your talent(s) to be utilized and maybe aid in your finding more that places where you can help with our mission.

Description: The State Outreach Coordinator (SORC) program was developed in 2012 to be an extension of CUE Center’s reach to communities across the nation to make available people on the ground when a person becomes missing. To have a person closer to the region to access the case needs and aid in the delivery of support and resources to each case. The state coordinators, in addition help with promoting CUE, aid in fundraising and bringing forth an awareness of missing persons and issues in their respective states.

Applications for new SORC directors open from September until late February each year. In March during the national conference selected coordinators attend the national mandatory directors meeting, training and are voted in for one year of service from March to March annually.
