State Outreach Coordinator:
State Outreach Coordinators are assigned to a specific state or region of the country (USA), for a period of one year. The Founder or President is responsible for bringing forth qualified individuals to the board for consideration and approval. The board will vote the State Outreach Coordinators into the role by a majority vote. Board selections are forwarded onward to the existing SORC (State Outreach Coordinators) for a final vote.
Responsibilities can include but are not limited to, casework, creation or maintenance of internet projects, research, fundraising, assisting in the development of a network or team of search and rescue/recovery specialists, and missing person's advocacy.
Voting privileges can be granted by a majority vote by the board at a scheduled annual meeting during the week of the National Round Table on Missing Persons. The meeting will be held during the month of March in Wilmington, NC. Voting privileges will only cover activities surrounding the State Outreach Coordinator program. Voting privileges will become null and void once the Founder adjourns the annual meeting.
State Outreach Coordinators are held to the same standards as board members and must attend the annual meeting to report activities and submit requests of any kind. State Outreach Coordinators can attend the organization's monthly scheduled board meetings without serving notice.
