Distinguishing Characteristics: Scars, Marks, Tattoos: Caucasian male. Sandy has a dog bite scar on the left side of his face.
Details of Disappearance: Sandy, 48, of 112 Dyer Dr., was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on January 16th 2016 near his home in Shelby, NC. Volunteers searched a 7-mile radius around Sandy’s home, for multiple days. More than 50 people from law enforcement and emergency personnel, along with police K-9’s and drones found no trace of him in the area. Due to conflicting statements, it is unknown as to what Sandy was last wearing at the time of his disappearance. He has no history of any medical condition that would cause him to become disoriented. The search for Sandy, which lasted about a week, was called off on January 21st 2016.
