A white wooden cross and flower bouquets continue to adorn the spot near where an antique bottle collector discovered the body of 41-year-old Priscilla Ann Rogers in December 2009 in Wilmington North Carolina..
In a bid to help solve the cold case, Gov. Beverly Perdue’s office announced Thursday if was offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Rogers’ killer. Roger, the mother of one son, was well-known around downtown Wilmington, where she lived and grew up.
She was last seen in June 2009. Her skeletal remains were found in December of that year in a wooded area off River Road. Because her remains were so badly decomposed, a medical examiner was not able to determine the manner of death.
