Penny graduates from Central Catholic High School in 1961. She attended the University of Toledo and was Head of Pre-School education at Blessed Sacrament Church for 13 years. Penny taught Catechism classes for three years at Christ Presbyterian Church and is a licensed real estate agent since 1984. She is a life long supporter, volunteer and aids in fund raising for Community United Effort (CUE) since 1998. Currently she volunteers for ProMedica hospice. She is the mother of Margaret “Peggy” Carr who was abducted in the spring of 1998 and recovered in November of the same year.
