Distinguishing Characteristics: Scars, Marks, Tattoos: Caucasian female. Tribal design tattoo on abdomen, fire helmet on left thigh, numerous tattoos on her back. Medical Conditions: May be depressed or anxious and suffer from postpartum depression; may require medication.
Details of Disappearance: Margaret was last seen at approximately 1:30 pm at her residence near the vicinity of Wychwood Way and Roundtop Rd in Warren Township, NJ. She is a volunteer firefighter with the Mount Bethel Fire Department, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Margaret’s husband last saw her when he left the house around 1:30 p.m. to run some errands. When he returned two hours later she was gone. Their three children, including an infant daughter, were home alone. Margaret had left behind her SUV, and her cell phone, but according to her husband, $11,000 in cash was missing. After two days, he reported her missing. Her family believes she left of her own accord.
Following a tip, an extensive police search for Margaret was conducted in the area of Dock Watch Hollow Road in Warren on July 28, 2007. The nine-hour pursuit involved search dogs, mounted patrol and more than 50 trained searchers but yielded no clues.
