Distinguishing Characteristics: Scars, Marks, Tattoos: Caucasian female. Kimberly has a surgical scar on her back, she has healed fractures. Her right ear is pierced three times and her left ear four times. Her ankle and her arm have previously been fractured. Dentals: Available
Details of Disappearance: Kimberly cancelled plans to attend her high school’s Junior Prom on the night of May 11, 1986 after an argument with her boyfriend. She told her sister that she was going out with friends and would return to their family’s residence in Jay, Maine in approximately one hour at 11:00 p.m. that evening. Kimberly was later seen entering a late-model white Monte Carlo or Trans Am with a friend and a 25-year-old male. Apparently, Kimberly’s friend was familiar with the man.
Kimberly did not bring her purse, makeup or any of her personal belongings with her when she departed her home. Her friend stated that she and the male dropped Kimberly off at approximately 3:45 a.m. the following morning. The friend told authorities that Kimberly requested they let her out of the car on Jewell Street, one-half mile from Kimberly’s residence which was on the same street. She allegedly claimed she wanted to be alone and walk the remaining distance to her house. She has never been seen again. Foul play is suspected in her case. The man Kimberly was last seen with is considered a person of interest in her disappearance, but has never been charged in connection with it.
Kimberly was declared legally dead in 1993. Her case remains unsolved.
