Morgan Rhiana Elvis
National Victim Advocate and Trauma Informed Educator
A native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Morgan now works nationwide as a Victim Advocate specializing in missing persons, and as a speaker and educator on the topic of complex trauma. This career is the product of years of her own trauma experienced through the abduction of her sister Heather, missing since December 2013.
Morgan will be speaking about her story, as well as her sister’s story, through the eyes of a co-survivor. She will cover topics such as: families left behind in the response gap, victim advocates, how trauma manifests in the body, and the importance of trauma-informed care.
