Details of Disappearance: Clark was last seen at approximately 6:00 p.m. on October 16, 2005 at his daughter’s residence in Pleasanton, Kansas. There was a family gathering there at the time. He has never been heard from again. Dogs tracked his scent to the highway, where they lost it. Clark is a retired truck driver and his family believes his dementia may make him think he is still a truck driver. He may be traveling across the country with truck drivers and is possibly unaware he is listed as a missing person. His case remains unsolved.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Scars, Marks, Tattoos: Caucasian male. Stephen has a scar near his left eye. He has the following homemade tattoos: the words “LOVE LISA” across his fingers, the word “Love” and a small eagle on his upper right arm, a cat or leopard on his left arm, a man on his right forearm, the name “Leo” on his upper left arm, the words “Born to Run” on one arm, the name “Joey” on one arm, and a devil driving on his left forearm. Stephen is paralyzed from the waist down at the time of his disappearance; he uses a wheelchair and a colostomy bag. He also suffers from cluster headaches and had all his upper teeth extracted as a result.

Details of Disappearance: Stephen was last seen in Manhattan, Kansas on August 22, 1981. He left a birthday party in the 1000 block of Poyntz Avenue in a red van with another man, Joseph Grashner, and two other individuals. Hammerle and Grashner have never been heard from again and their van has not been located.

Few details are available in the men’s cases, but foul play is suspected.

Details of Disappearance: Randy Leach, who was a Linwood High School senior, was last seen at a pre-graduation party in rural Linwood, Kansas on April 16, 1988. By various accounts, he was too intoxicated to walk straight between that time and the last time he was reported seen, sometime between 01:15 and 02.00.

Leach was driving the family car and was reported missing by his parents on April 16 when he did not come home. Authorities do not believe he left of his own accord, since he left behind the 1966 Dodge Mustang he was restoring and his friends and family say he had no plans to leave home. The vehicle Leach had driven to the party has not been found.

In December 2002, Leach’s case was reclassified from a missing person case to a homicide.

Her skull and left wrist were previously fractured as the result of a near-fatal car accident that occurred when she was fourteen years old. A wire was inserted into Brewer’s jaw after an additional injury. One of her ears is triple-pierced, while the other ear has a single piercing. Details of Disappearance: Tabitha was last seen with her boyfriend,Nicholas Travis, and their mutual friend, Brandon Howell, outside of her father’s residence in Shawnee, Kansas on April 27, 1998. Her purse was later found in a dumpster at 55th and Paseo Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. Nicholas Travis’ body was found several months later, on August 12, 1998, in the back yard of a Kansas City, Missouri, duplex owned by Brandon Howell’s father. Howell and Travis had both worked there together. According to three separate witness accounts given to authorities, Howell had either confessed to killing the couple (Tabitha and Nicholas), or had discussed plans to kill them. Howell was charged with two counts of first degree murder stemming from the deaths of Nicholas Travis and Tabitha Brewer. The motive may have been a $40,000 settlement that Brewer had received after a car accident, although she was unable to access the money because it was in a trust fund. Brewer’s body has never been found.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Scars, Marks, Tattoos: Caucasian female.   Tattoo of a “rose” on chest, tattoo of a “bear” on outer right ankle, partial with wire. Star was last seen wearing blue jeans, athletic shoes, a blue jean jacket, and carrying a purse with $80 cash.

Details of Disappearance: On the evening of February 23, 1999, Star Boomer was a patron of Uncle Mike’s Bar at 49th and Metropolitan in Kansas City, Kansas. Star had gone to the bar with her roommate. The friend had a drink and headed home, planning to return in a few hours to pick Star up. When she arrived at the bar, she was told that Star had left with two men. Witnesses at the bar stated that Star was involved in a violent altercation with a man believed to be lifelong criminal with a history of violent behavior, particularly toward women. At one point during the evening, Star allegedly was knocked to the ground, causing her to lose consciousness.  On February 28, the roommate reported to police that her friend was missing. Investigators state that it is believed that Star was killed in the bar and her body was dumped elsewhere. Two men were arrested and charged with second degree murder, but were later released and charges were dismissed because witnesses did not come forth. Star has not been seen or heard from since that night.

Details of Disappearance: April was last seen leaving an apartment complex in the 500 block of Marion Road in Wichita, Kansas on January 11, 2000. Her friend told authorities that she saw April heading towards Pawnee Street and Broadway Street between 10:00 PM – 10:30 PM that evening. Investigators believe that she may have had her pager, apartment keys and wallet with her, as well. April was scheduled to testify in a felony trial two days after her disappearance. Authorities do not know if her disappearance is connected to the trial or if other factors are involved in her case. April was initially classified as a runaway, but investigators have since stated that she vanished under unclear circumstances. April has never been heard from again.
