Missing from: West Des Moines, Iowa Missing: September 5, 1982 Age at disappearance: 12 Hair: Light Brown Eyes: Blue Height: […]

Missing from: West Des Moines, Iowa
Missing: September 5, 1982
Age at disappearance: 12
Hair: Light Brown
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5’7″
Weight : 140

Distinguishing Characteristics: Scars, Marks, Tattoos: Caucasian male. Johnny has facial freckles. There is a gap between his front teeth. He has a horseshoe-shaped scar on his tongue and a birthmark on his left cheek. Johnny was wearing a white sweatshirt with Kim’s Academy imprinted on the back, warm-up pants and blue rubber thong sandals. Date Of Birth: November 12, 1969.

Circumstances of Disappearance: Johnny disappeared while conducting his newspaper route in West Des Moines, Iowa on September 5, 1982. He was tailed by his dachshund, Gretchen. Danny was seen speaking to a male suspect while working his paper route on 42nd Street and Marcourt Lane. Gretchen returned home without her master. Because of the Danny’s case, Iowa passed a law requiring immediate investigations of missing children.
Danny disappeared from the same vicinity as Eugene Wade Martin did in October of 1984 and Marc James-Warren Allen in March of 1986. Martin also vanished while working his newspaper route; It has not been proven that these three cases are related in any way, but it is worth noting the similarities.

Danny’s mother claimed that her son is alive and that he visited her in 1997. She announced her revelations during a 1999 pedophile crime organization trial in Nebraska. Danny’s mother said that he came to her Iowa apartment in March 1997 with an unidentified male friend. She claims that Danny told her he was abducted by members of a pedophile crime organization and he escaped from the group at an undetermined time. Danny’s mother also said that her son was in fear of repercussions from the group and that was the reason he chose to remain “underground.” She stated that she has had no further contact with her son since his 1997 visit and that she remained silent about the event until called as a witness in court because she fears for Danny’s safety.

Missing from: Cedar Rapids, Iowa Missing: June 3, 2001 Age at disappearance: 15 Height: 5’2″-5’3″ Weight: 125-130 lbs. Hair: Dark […]

Missing from: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Missing: June 3, 2001
Age at disappearance: 15
Height: 5’2″-5’3″
Weight: 125-130 lbs.
Hair: Dark Brown
Eye: Brown

Distinguishing Characteristics: Scars, Marks, Tattoos: Caucasian female. Small scar above eye. Red highlights in hair. Pierced ears.
Details of Disappearance: Erin was last seen during the evening hours. She was given a ride by one of her brother’s friends to her friend’s house. The friend was not at home. As Erin walked back to her brother’s friend’s truck, a dark colored, early 1990′s model Chevrolet Cavalier or Impala with tinted rear windows pulled up. Erin had a brief conversation with an occupant in the car and told her brother’s friend that “these guys” would give her a ride. Because Erin seemed to know the occupant(s) in the car, her case was initially classified as a runaway. Her family believes that she was abducted. None of her friends have heard from her since she disappeared.

The investigation into Erin’s disappearance leans towards the theory that gang members in the areas of Cedar Rapids and Chicago, Illinois may have somehow been involved. She may have been seen in the spring of 2002 at a convenience store in Cedar Rapids, in the backseat of a car with Illinois license plates. However, police were unable to locate her or the vehicle.
