Community United Effort (CUE) established their college internship program in 1998 and to date (2021) has processed 73 senior students providing anywhere from 25 to 150 hours each to the organization with credited volunteer service hours. Many colleges in North Carolina are enrolled with CUE for this program. Leading areas of studies are creative writing, criminal justice, social work, and marketing. Internships have provided CUE with 10,543 hours of volunteerism.
