The HRD K9 seminar serves as a professional training program to enhance the understanding of K9 work in the field of the missing and lost persons, in addition provides certified testing of capabilities for any agency or volunteer who provide search services nationwide. The seminar offers expert training from a K9 imprint beginner level to advance recovery certification. The five day program helps build a solid foundation for handlers and their K9 partner advance to peak performance, offering tools to be or become a reliable resource to their respected state and fosters a positive working relationship among all those who aid in missing person search efforts. •2016 – Current the program has hosted participants from thirty- four states
•HRD seminar began in November of 2016 hosted by Community United Effort (CUE)
•This program is open to any state or individual for an annual training purpose and AWDA K9 certification
•To date this program has certified 205 cadaver K9 units on (land) and certified cadaver 46 K9 units on (water)
