I AM ONE – AUDREY HERRON – CATSKILL, NEW YORK
Thirty-one year old nurse Audrey May Herron went missing from Catskill, New York on August 29, 2002.
Audrey was last seen driving westbound on Route 23. The route serves largely rural areas of the state and traverses the Catskill Mountains in the state’s Central New York Region. NY 23 crosses the Hudson River at Catskill via the Rip Van Winkle Bridge.
Audrey left her night shift job at a health care facility at about 11 pm and presumably was enroute to her home while driving a 1994 Black Jeep Grand Cherokee with New York license plates X233UV. She was wearing green medical scrubs, a blue turtleneck sweater and while sneakers.
Audrey and her vehicle have never been located. In previous years, a motorcycle run and poker fundraiser called Riding4Audrey was active through 2012.
