the NY Yankees Medal of Valor.
In addition to Law Enforcement, I served in all ranks of a large volunteer Fire Department. I served as Fire Commissioner and Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners, for Levittown Fire District, Levittown, New York. After relocating to South Carolina, I was employed by the Horry County Police Department where I served in a command position as the Lieutenant overseeing major case investigations and direct command of the Crime Scene Investigations Unit and the Property and Evidence Sections. I had overall responsibility for all forensic investigations, as well as, the custody and control of all evidence and property coming into the possession of Horry County Police. While employed by the Horry County Police Department I assisted in investigating over 1000 cases per year, ranging from Rapes, Burglaries, Missing Persons cases, Homicides and every major investigations handled by Horry County Police.
He also assisted neighboring Law Enforcement agencies to include, SLED (SC State Law Enforcement Division), Myrtle Beach PD, Conway PD, Loris PD, Aynor PD, Surfside Beach PD, and North Myrtle Beach PD, as well as neighboring counties and State agencies. I have testified as an expert witness in countless criminal court trials. During the later part of 2020, I retired from Horry County Police Department and now offer technical investigative and forensic assistance to multiple agencies as a Law Enforcement Consultant.
