Over 39 years of law enforcement experience between NYPD and Horry County Police Department. Retired from New York City Police Department where I was a Detective Commander in charge of the Major Case Investigations Unit. During my tenure with NYPD, I was twice awarded the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Police Officer, the NYPD Medal of Honor, and the NY Yankees Medal of Honor.
Following retirement from NYPD, I served as Fire Commissioner and Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners, for Levittown Fire District, Levittown, New York. After relocating to Myrtle Beach, SC, I was employed by the Horry County Police Department where I served as the Lieutenant in command of the Crime Scene Investigations Unit and the Property and Evidence Sections. I had overall responsibility for all forensic investigations, as well as, the custody and control of all evidence and property coming into the possession of Horry County Police. While employed by the Horry County Police Department I assisted in investigating approximately 1000 cases per year, ranging from Burglaries to Homicides.
Since late in 2020 I have retired from Horry County Police and enjoy assisting CUE with investigations and searches.
