Details of Disappearance: Karen was last seen at approximately 1:00 a.m. on April 16, 1983, in Carpentersville, Illinois. She had gone to a bar with about twenty coworkers to celebrate her recent promotion at work. Karen was the last person in the group to leave the establishment. It’s unclear whether she made it home or not, nothing appeared to be disturbed in her apartment after her disappearance. Her bright yellow 1980 Toyota Celica hatchback with red accent stripes disappeared with her and has never been found. The vehicle has the vehicle identification number (VIN) RA42326350 and the Illinois license plate number XP8919. She has never been heard from again.
